...The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity

(2 TIMOTHY 2:19)

Indeed, “...The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Dear reader, your good works are not going to save you. Your morality is not going to save you. For all your righteousnesses before the Lord, are as filthy ruined rags of “iniquity.” God’s very own word declares “we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” ISAIAH 64:6. May God grant you grace to depart from trusting in your own works, and rather trust in Him alone, who is the righteous Savior of His people. For “…the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him” (PSALM 37:39-40).

My sinner friend, the Lord knoweth them that are His,—therefore let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from trusting anything or anyone—save Him, Christ Jesus, our Lord and God. Indeed beloved, Christ is all our Salvation. AMEN!
