…by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

(EPHESIANS 2:8)

Salvation is knowing CHRIST. Yet it is CHRIST’s knowledge of us not our knowledge of HIM that saves us. Faith is receiving CHRIST. But we are saved because HE has received us. Perseverance is holding CHRIST. Yet, our security is not our holding HIM, but HIM holding us. We are the beneficiaries of HIS grace. We contribute nothing to HIS grace.
