Sovereign Grace Church

This past Thursday, November 17th, the Lord Jesus Christ called our Friend, Missionary Cody Groover home to glory.  Cody was a beloved friend and faithful minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He served as a missionary and Pastor in Mexico for over 22 years. During which time God was pleased to continue the work began by Walter Groover as well as raise up other churches of which Cody was Pastor.  We are deeply saddened by his departure but we confess that “precious in the sight of LORD is the death of His saints.” (PSALM 116:15) Please pray for his family and the churches that God would comfort them and raise up another pastor for them. And rejoice in the truth that Cody is now present with our Lord.  Rejoice that the salvation he preached here is now fully revealed and experienced by our brother in glory. Let us rejoice that soon and very soon we too shall be rejoicing with him in the presence of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
