Beloved, if I were to ask you, if you have a good conscience, I trust that if you were honest about it, you would say “not in or through anything I have done.” But blessed be the Lord, believing sinner, you have the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the doing and dying of the Lord Jesus Christ! Indeed, we have a good conscience before God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dear reader, may our Heavenly Father graciously show you that in every demand His Holy Law makes of a sinner like you and a sinner like me, He has made His beloved Son, our blessed Redeemer, the answer for all His holy demands before Him in love.
