Passage: 1 Samuel 30:19 & 1 John 4:19

Christ Recovered All

…there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

(1 SAMUEL 30:19)

Beloved, how often we fret, how often we worry, how often the cares of this life take hold of us in the most unpleasant and unexpected ways. Beloved, in light of the brevity of our time-state upon the earth, in light of the vanity of our carnal life, consider the blessed reality of our Spiritual life in Christ; HE RECOVERED ALL! Indeed, because he cried “It is finished,” every sinner who puts their trust in Him shall be recovered!

Beloved, if you love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity, it is because our Heavenly Father first loved you in Christ; indeed if God loves you, if God loves me everything is okay. [1 JOHN 4:19]

For if our heavenly Father is satisfied with His Son, and His Son is satisfied to know that all He came to redeem shall be recovered, how much more should we be satisfied by the knowledge of the finished justifying work of our blessed Redeemer.

Our heavenly Father spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? How lovely the picture of the gospel reality we have in Christ. Indeed, in Christ, we have been freely given all things. Nothing lacking to them for whom He gave His Son. [ROMANS 8:32, 1 SAMUEL 30:19]

Is everything okay? Yes beloved, everything is okay. For we did not baptize ourselves into CHRIST, rather by one Spirit are we all baptized into His body, all made to drink into one Spirit in CHRIST [1 COR. 12:13].

Is everything okay? Yes beloved, everything is okay. For we did not believe to be saved, rather we were saved to believe, through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised CHRIST from the dead; indeed because we have been ordained to eternal life, we believe. [ACTS 13:48]

Is everything okay? Yes beloved, everything is okay. For we are not merely reconciled to our Heavenly Father through the sin atoning death of our Lord Jesus Christ; but much more, we are saved by His substitutionary death. Beloved, we shall be saved by His substitutionary life. [ROMANS 5:8-11]

Indeed everything is okay, for Christ has purchased a full and complete pardon of sin, and has established a perfect and holy righteousness; made yours by the grace of God, through faith, the faith that is not of yourself, rather, the faith of Christ, given to you through the unsearchable riches of His grace in Christ. AMEN! [EPHESIANS 3:8]
