Sovereign Grace Church

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

(Numbers 6:26)

Once a child of God has been graced to receive: blessings, being kept, God’s face to shine upon them, graciousness, God’s countenance lifted up upon them; they can not but have the “Peace” of God that passes all understanding! This last phrase: and the Lord give thee Peace; is the by-product or I should say the result of all that the Anointed One has done for the sheep of His fold. Is it possible to have peace upon this wretched earth? Yes and Amen; all in the person and worth of our dearly Beloved! Oh, I want/need peace in such a world as this is, you look around you and there is none to be found upon the foundations of this globe. But just as the word of truth is sure to all the seed, I can say without question and without doubt: It is well with the righteous. Why? Because Christ has died, yea, rather is risen again and is even at the right hand of God. Brethren, we want, desire peace: peace with God, peace with our neighbor, peace within and peace without. How can such a thing be had? Look I say, Look upon the Brazen Serpent and live; live abundantly, live freely, live to worship Him and live in peace by the Son as He has purchased for each and everyone of His chosen. Bless God through our Lord Jesus Christ, we have peace! [AMEN!]
