“…the work of righteousness shall be peace”

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever

(ISAIAH 32:17)

Beloved, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; the effect of His righteousness, His finished saving work of righteousness shall be peace, quietness, and assurance for ever (“The LORD our righteousness” JEREMIAH 33:16). “And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation…in sure dwellings…in quiet resting places” (ISAIAH 32:18). I know the LORD will bless His people with His Word. Indeed, that blessing shall be by, with, and in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ [ROMANS 8:28]. Amen!
